The 6 Philippine Air Force (PAF)-bound Embraer A-29B Super Tucanos are more than half-way in their delivery flight to Philippines which was divided into several legs.
According to MaxDefense, citing flight trackers, the Super Tucanos arrived in Delhi, India September 14.
“Next stop for the 6 Super Tucanos: Dhaka, Bangladesh. If everything goes well, the flight will proceed tomorrow (September 15),” MaxDefense said.
“Next stop: U-Tapao International Airport, Thailand by 16 September 2020. Hopefully this is the last stop before the Super Tucanos reach Clark Air Base in Pampanga, Philippines by 17 September 2020,” MaxDefense said.
Philippine Air Force (PAF) chief Lieutenant General Allen T. Paredes said, during House of Representatives committee hearing on 2021 proposed budget of Department of National Defense (DND), the service is expecting arrival of 6 aircraft this month.
